Don’t miss out Road to Hana Journey

Hello Everyone, I am a traveler who loves to explore new places. Be it Guided tours, if you say “Wanna go here…You’ll find me replying positively.”

This experience I am sharing with you when I went on Road to Hana Guided Tour with Maui Legend tours with my family. That was the tour of a lifetime…How? Well below given are few words from my diary.

Day 1:
We decided to go on 4 days Hawaii tour. We booked ourselves with Maui Legends and we are very happy with their services. We packed and reach an airport. Took a flight and reached here in the evening.

Day 2:     We freshened up and our first adventurous day started. We were picked up from a hotel and were taken to Island tour. We visited beaches, shops, restaurants. We enjoyed water and sun tan, we ate yummy Hawaiian food and we bought some souvenirs for friends. They dropped us back in the evening and we were so tired that we slept.

Day 3:     Today was the best. I never enjoyed this much in my life. We went on Adventure Maui Road to Hana Tour. They picked us up from our hotel again and took us to Best Road to Hana Tour. They took us to their office and we chose the option – Road to Hana Van Tour.

First, we went to a red sand beach and knew about the culture. We got to know that the bay name comes from kaihalulu which means “roaring sea” and hill name comes from ka ʻuiki which means “the glimmer in the Hawaiian language. It was the site of a fortress and temple (heiau) where several battles were fought and also the birthplace of powerful civil leader Queen Kaʻahumanu.

Our next two places were Wananalua and Congregational Church and Kahanu Garden. Kahanu Garden and Preserve is a botanical garden located on the Hana Highway. It is one of five gardens of the non-profit National Tropical Botanical Garden.

Wānanalua was the name of a traditional land division (ahupuaʻa) on the eastern coast of the island of Maui.[2] The name means “double prophecy” in the Hawaiian language. We learned history and headed towards our last destination.
Our last place was Waiʻanapanapa State Park because it was at the end of the road. Waiʻanapanapa means “glistening fresh water” in the Hawaiian language, referring to nearby freshwater streams and sparkling pools. We enjoyed water again. This was the memorable day of my life.

Day 4:    Today we just spent an afternoon at a hotel and left for the airport. They see us off and we took a flight back to home. As I reached home I miss Hana already.
